A Reddit user by the name of Smashrican showed off a doormat they bought on Etsy. However, the only marking on the doormat is the waypoint symbol above the parabolic entrance that players will see during active gameplay. This symbol means that in order to continue the questline, the player must enter a specific structure. The symbol often appears during both main quests andside quests inSkyrim.
This custom doormat is not only practical but is also extremely inventive. If aSkyrimfan were to walk up to a house and see this symbol on a doormat, then they immediately whoever owns the house is likely a fellowSkyrimfan. While weapon replicas, such as the recentglass dagger replicasomeone made, are awesome and incredibly detailed, sometimes something as simple as a doormat with theSkyrimwaypoint symbol on it is more than enough to show a person’s love for the game.
In any case, it’s impressive how longSkyrimhas managed to maintain its longevity. This year, the game will be turning ten years old and it still remains incredibly popular. Other thanGrand Theft Auto 5, not many other games have managed to be ported across multiple successive console generations asSkyrimhas.
It will be interesting to see what the future holds in terms ofThe Elder Scrollsseries. WhileThe Elder Scrolls 6was officially announced a while back, there hasn’t been much by way of additional information. Bethesda has yet to reveal any gameplay footage or an additional trailer for the game. With any luck, more information about the game will be revealed by the end of 2021.
