According to Twitter user JAAY_Rock_’s post, a flag on Miles Morales' home has a Cuban flag on the wall. Miles is half Latin, but his Mother actually comes from Puerto Rico instead of Cuba. While this isn’t something that would affectMarvel’s Spider-Man 2in a big sense, many fans consider the oversight to be slightly offensive, as well as lazy, especially considering that a Puerto Rican Spider-Man costume exists in the game with the correct colors. Some gamers have taken to joking about the issue lightly, although a recent tweet by the director at Community and Marketing of Insomniac, James Stevenson has addressed the fact that the team is working on a fix.
There are far more pressing bugs and glitches present in the game, such as whenMiles Morales turns into a white cube inSpider-Man 2. However, with such a controversial topic, especially with the idea of race representation, many feel Insomniac needs to prioritize the flag image fix as to not aggravate any concerns. Nationality is one of the things that make Miles Morales unique, and it plays such a big part in his story, so fans are a little surprised at how the devs got this one wrong.

Insomniac has crafted a wonderful masterpiece that truly shows the love it has put into the game. Hopefully, the team can visit all the reports of issues present. While not game-breaking, a lot of these problems could easily be solved should the developers listen to the community reports as well. Ideally, the next patch should be able to address a few of the initial concerns mentioned by the fans.
