Star Warsis such a legendary franchise at this point that just about every movie-goer out there can recognize its characters by voice alone. One fan, however, is taking their devotion a little bit further by learning how to replicate those voices so accurately that it sounds like the actual actors are right there in the room. Posted to the Reddit community “r/NextFuckingLevel”, it quickly becomes clear that these impressions are very much next level. It starts withKylo Ren, the son of Han Solo and Leia Organa, who also served as the primary villain of theStar Warssequel trilogy. Of course, he does cover the hits, including Darth Vader, Jabba the Hutt, and Yoda, complete with mischievous laughter. Even more impressive, however, is his ability to recreate R2-D2’s beeps and whistles, as well as being able to do a convincing impression of Alec Guinness’s Obi-Wan Kenobi, followed by a pitch-perfect version ofEwan McGregor’s incarnation of the character.
The commenters on Reddit were also fairly impressed by the video. Not only was the post showered with awards and positive votes, but commenters also had their own suggestions for impressions they wish had been shown.
