BecauseStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s sequel is seemingly in development, but has not been shown with any further details, it is due for a worldwide reveal at any time. Further, some fairly credible sources have weighed in on particular details that suggest fans may hear more soon.
Reporter Jeff Grubb has discussed unannounced details surrounding the sequel, such asits allegedSurvivorsubtitleand release window being either February or March next year. While details are sparse, there are a couple of hotly anticipated events in the near future whereStar Wars Jedi: Survivorcould appear and confirm any rumors.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor at Star Wars Celebration is a No-Brainer
It is likely thatStar Wars Jedi: Survivorwill be mentioned in some capacity at the Star Wars Celebration. The event could provide a big stage for its cinematic reveal, and while the Star Wars Celebration does not currently feature a scheduled panel that seems to hint at anything touching upon theStar Wars Jedifranchise, it does havea panel scheduled forLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
However, despite video games being a significant portion of theStar WarsIP, Star Wars Celebration is not a gaming-focused event.Star Wars Jedi: Survivormay not appear if Disney or EA would prefer it to be revealed on a platform more centered around the subject, and the Star Wars Celebration will have its hands full withmarketingObi-Wan Kenobiand Disney’s other streaming service titles, such as the newly announcedStar Wars: Skeleton Crew.

Likewise,EA Play 2022 has been canceled, which negates the possibility of Respawn reprising its gameplay reveal forStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderat EA Play 2019. While aStar Wars-centric event would be an obvious place forJedi: Survivorto capitalize, it may not be in the cards this year. In that case, there is still another event that would make a great platform for its reveal, or at least be used in tandem with a Star Wars Celebration reveal.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor at Summer Game Fest Could Share Further Information
Star Wars Jedi: Survivoris long overdue in the public space, and although it should have a place at Star Wars Celebration, it should also make an appearance at Summer Game Fest. If Respawn doubled down, it could have an official reveal teaser at the former event, knowing that its success is largely guaranteed due to theStar Warsbranding, with a full trailer to follow.
IfStar Wars Jedi: Survivor’s reported release window of February or March 2023, it would make sense for Respawn to want to start sharing early looks that generate excitement. This could be achieved with a brief look at gameplay after a teaser at the Star Wars Celebration notifies fans that more will be shown atGeoff Keighley’s live Summer Game Fest kick-off in June.
Of course, there is nothing indicating thatStar Wars Jedi: Survivorwill be at Summer Game Fest, and there is always the chance that it does not make an appearance at either event. Yet, because of how long it has been since it was first teased, it would make sense for Respawn to share something sooner than later. Either of these events would give it a worthwhile platform to confirm whether Grubb’s reports are accurate.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivorreportedly releases in early 2023 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
