Summary
Carry capacity is the name of the game for a lot ofStarfieldplayers, but one creative fan ensures that they’ll never have to worry about cargo capacity ever again by designing a literal “space truck” weighing in at over 96,000 units of mass. Managing carry weight has always been something to worry about across Bethesda’s previous titles, but the sheer amount of loot to find inStarfield’s vast galaxy means that players will find their bags fully packed almost constantly.
Whether players are looting the weapons and gear from their fallen foes, stealing anything valuable they can find, or simply just hauling large quantities of valuable minerals mined out of a planet’s surface, storage limitations are always going to be an issue. Players with relatively small cargo holds will frequently find themselvesreturning to one ofStarfield’s many cities, such as New Atlantis, in order to sell off anything valuable they may have collected, but even selling off cumbersome goods isn’t as easy as it sounds due to many vendors having very limited amounts of cash. Still, there is some good news for players who really can’t bear to part with their piles of loot, as the Lodge features two unique containers that can each hold an unlimited number of items.

While these crates, (located in both the player’s bedroom and the basement in the Lodge), can be very useful, it can still be a pain to offload stuff atConstellation’s headquartersall the time. With that in mind, countless players have attempted to engineer the galaxy’s perfect cargo freighter, with fans showing off all sorts of impressive ship designs capable of carrying heavy loads. One talentedStarfieldship designer known as Xeppeling seems to think that conventional spaceship designs are overrated though, instead inventing a hilariously over-the-top “space truck” that looks just like the real thing. This beast of a ship seems to be about 2% engines and 98% cargo space, somehow featuring a mobility stat of 0 but a storage capacity of almost half a million.
Few ships manage to feature anything remotely close to that much storage space, nor a design as hilarious as this one. The Reddit post that introduced this fantastic design to theStarfieldcommunity includes several images of the space truck, showing its full list of stats as well as a screenshot that shows what the ship looks like as it lifts off fromone of the biggest cities inStarfield.
Theship-building aspect ofStarfieldwas one of the most anticipated parts of the game prior to its release, and the feature certainly didn’t disappoint. Players have really gone wild with their creations over the past few weeks, with unbelievable new ship designs seeming to crop up every day.
