Considering thatSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leagueis promising the mightiest of DC Comics heroes, it’s good to see some of these characters confirmed, with someSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguebeingquite the surprise.

13Harley Quinn

Harley Quinn has hadquite the transformationfrom the last time players saw theBatman: Arkhamversion of the character. For years, Harley Quinn was known as the loud and ditzy girlfriend of the Joker. With his death, she seemed to mourn obsessively, but now, she’s back, and seemingly far more independent now thather “Puddin’” is dead.

Harley Quinn rocks a new look that seems more in line with her recent entry into DC Comics as an independent and anti-hero character, rather than the obsessive girlfriend of the past threeBatman: Arkhamgames.

12King Shark

When audiences saw King Shark inthe DCEU movieThe Suicide Squad, many were overjoyed with just how silly and adorable he was. Part of that charm came from his design and the innocently silly performance of Sly Stallone. However,Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguefeatures a moresophisticated version of King Shark, one unlikely to stare at birds or point out that he has a hand.

What the two will have in common is a tendency to kill things. Let’s just hope this version of King Shark doesn’t have a taste for his teammates. King Shark will join the Suicide Squad against his will to take out the Justice League.

11Deadshot

This version of Deadshot is the definitive one. Although Deadshot appeared inBatman: ArkhamCity,Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguegoes on to explain that the Deadshot seen in that previous game was a fake, an identity thief. There’s only one Floyd Lawton, and it appears thatSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguewill feature him.

Deadshot is an expert marksman, perhaps the best of the best. It’ll be interesting to see how his skills and abilities translate into the gaming scene, and how players can utilize that to take out Deadshot’smost difficult targetsyet, as each Justice League kill may not be easy.

10Captain Boomerang

This loud-mouthed Aussie certainly makes a fast impression. With an utter hatred for the Flash and a love for all things boomerang, Captain Boomerang is sure to be more of a clumsy burden to the Suicide Squad than a viable team member. Captain Boomerang already seems to be partaking in the comedy of the group, even if it is at his expense.

It’s good to see some of the Flash’s greatest villains get the recognition they deserve, and George Harkness has certainly done some bad things recognizable of villainy. Perhaps his hatred for the Flash will be rewarded inSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

9Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman is a grand symbol in and out of the DC Universe. She is a brave warrior from Themyscira and a proud Amazon. The extent of Wonder Woman’s rolein the game is yet to be confirmed, but considering the only time players have seen her is not under the influence of Brainiac’s control, she may play a key role in destroying or saving the Justice League.

8Batman

Audiences believed that the curtain had come down for Batman after the release ofBatman: Arkham Knight. TheBatman: Arkham Knightending sees the world discover Bruce Wayne’s identity as Batman, and Wayne Manor explodes with him in it. Yet, recent trailers show that Batman returns! The Dark Knight himself is under Brainiac’s control.

What makes this appearance of Batman inSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguespecial is the fact that he will bevoiced by Kevin Conroy, the iconic voice of Batman who tragically passed in 2022. This performance will be his last, and will hopefully be one to remember.

7Superman

The Man of Steel brings hope to the world. Superman is stoic, kind, and far more than his powers. He is as human as the people he protects. However, not all is blue in the world of Superman at the moment, as the character seems to be the first of the Justice League to succumb to Brainiac’s control.

Superman is seenfighting Wonder Womanand the Suicide Squad and using his heat vision to fry and kill a soldier. What awaits Superman is yet to be seen, but hopefully there is a happy ending for Superman, one that includes the symbol of hope.

6The Flash

The Fastest Man Alive is bound to be another painful target for the Suicide Squad. How can they defeat someone that they cannot catch? The Flash has been seen in theSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguetrailers under Brainiac’s powers, and most curiously, has his name used by Captain Boomerang. Does it imply that the world knows Barry Allen, or something deeper? Who knows?

Barry Allen has been the subject of many great DC Comics stories for the Flash, and beyond. The Flash’s appearance inSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguecould pave the way to an interesting game where speed is the focus, that is unless the Suicide Squad manages to kill him.

5Green Lantern

As another member of the Justice League, John Stewart’s Green Lantern fights for not only the planet Earth but the entire sector to which he is assigned. He’s a great Green Lantern, and one of the many iconic Earth Green Lanterns like Hal Jordan. His appearance inSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguemakes the Green Lantern Corps canon for the Batman Arkhamverse.

John Stewart is a great character, who has led an interesting and hard life. The last thing this character needs is to be under the influence and control of Brainiac. Green Lantern is yet another character controlled against his will.

4Gizmo

The short and merry bearded man seen in theSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguetrailers is none other than Gizmo. This supervillain may be a diabolical enemy to the Teen Titans, but it seems as if he’sturned over a new leafwith age, and dedicated his time to crafting great gadgets for Amanda Waller and the Suicide Squad.

Gizmo specializes in inventive gadgets that can be deadly and will allow said gadgets to help him in his efforts to take over the Teen Titans. His villainy may have caught up with him, as his works are in servitude of Amanda Waller.
