Rocksteady Has Already Teased What is Coming Through Post-Launch Content

Before release, Rocksteady confirmed that it had plans for four seasons of content, with the first season starting sometime in March.Suicide Squad’s first seasonwill not only bring new activities, boss fights, stories, and weapons, but also a brand-new Suicide Squad member in the form of Joker. One of the easiest routes for Rocksteady to go down is if it introduced characters that have already been established as members of the Suicide Squad inpastBatman: Arkhamtitles. DC villains such as Killer Frost, KGBeast, and Catwoman have all appeared as members in various projects. Additionally, Amanda Waller went to great lengths just to recruit Bane, which ultimately failed. However, by the timeSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguetakes place, maybe she has ended up succeeding.

Another potential route for Rocksteady would be replicatingthe DCEU’s Suicide Squad roster. Already,Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s team is made up of villains that also played a role in Task Force X’s live-action outings. Now, Rocksteady just has to delve even deeper into that DC universe. It could introduce Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Ratcatcher, or even Polka-Dot Man. Some of these characters have already been teased throughout Metropolis, so the studio would just have to make it official. The extensive list of character options includes, but is not limited to:

No one really knows ifSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguewill have content past those four seasons. The game has gone through a bit of a controversial launch, so if the sales are not there, then the game will probably follow in the footsteps ofMarvel’s Avengers. However, if it is able to stay afloat past season 4, then Rocksteady has a massive library of characters to pull from that could keep this game going strong for a long time.
