According to multiple reports, Nintendo wants to mark the occasion in a big way and is planning on remastering severalSuper Mario Bros.games for the Switch. One of the games being brought to the new console might beSuper Mario 3D World, according to a recent leak.

Twitter user Wario64 did some digging and uncovered an inactive listing at Best Buy forSuper Mario 3D World. The details show that it will release for the Switch with a price tag of $59.99, and although it isn’t listed as such, it is likely the game will be getting a Deluxe release, just asSuper Mario Bros. Udid – though this is not confirmed.

Even the leaker asks that people take this information with a grain of salt, which is always a good practice when it comes to leaks and rumors. However, with the recentMario Bros. rumors swirling, there’s a good chance this leak could turn out to correct. Audiences could find out the validity of this information soon, too, if the recentJune Nintendo Direct leakis accurate.

According to information from 4chan, which has pumped out some legitimate leaks in the past, the upcoming Direct is going to be making some huge announcements. It is claiming ports ofPikminto the Switch, a newF-Zero, andDonkey Kong Countrygames for Switch Online will be among the many things shown during the event.

The Direct is also rumored to be brimming withSuper Mario Bros. news. The leak states that a newPaper Mariogame will be announced, along withSuper Mario 3D World Deluxeand aSuper Mario HDbundlethat will package together remasters of past 3D titles from the series, includingSuper Mario Galaxyand its sequel. What hurts the leaks case a smidge is that it also claims aSuper Mario RPGremake is in development and one of the most requested characters inSuper Smash Bros. history, Geno, will finally be joining the roster. For longtime fans of both the game and the character, this would an incredible move by Nintendo, but it all seems a little too good to be true.
