Now, it seems a recent Twitter video confirms the demo appearing in the trailer is actual gameplay, as evident by Game Science Studio’s CEO playing it live.

TheBlack Mythtrailer’s gameplay was impressive, to say the least, showcasing incredibly smooth animations, lush environments, and brilliant lighting effects throughout. It was so impressive that many people thought the trailer was too good to be true, and that the gameplay demo had to be falsely manufactured in some way. Now, it seems like that isn’t the case thanks to a Twitter video showing the studio’s CEO Feng Ji playing a build of the game. The portion of the game Ji is playing is the same portion that kicks off the gameplay in the recent trailer.
Seeing Ji actually play this portion of the trailer off-screen should alleviate some people’s fears that the gameplay trailer was too good to be true. Chinese mythology isn’t the most popular setting in games, so hopefully,Black Myth: Wu Kongcan bring it to light for more players.
