8Cyclops

One Eyed And Full Of Might

One of thefirst large foesplayers will face after the prologue ofDragon’s Dogma 2is a Cyclops as it crashes through rubble, getting in the way of the group of soldiers attempting to make it to Vernworth. The Cyclops has a combination of not only height but also weight, as players see the monster easily carry around a club that could crush the Arisen if it lands on them.

Players are likely to want to scale this creature that towers in height, to reach its single eyeball to blind it. While players may also wish to topple the creature by striking at its legs, being caught under its feet is sure to crush not only the player, but also their Pawns.

A Long Tail Makes Her Large

Players get their first chance at fighting Medusa during the first few moments ofDragon’s Dogma 2. While she may retreat at the start of the game, this is enough time for players to see the sheer size of her.

She may not appear very tall, butMedusa is incredibly long, with a snake tail that she slithers around with. Having such a lengthy body means Medusa can curl her body in odd ways, as well as the thickness of it being enough to knock the Arisen and their companions over. Although her more human torso may be quite slender, players can only begin to imagine the weight she is pulling from her thick, scaly tail.

A Giant Half-Lion, Half-Bird Woman

Some of the largest monsters inDragon’s Dogma 2are likely to be characters that some players may have never met during their playthrough. One such example of this is the Sphinx, who players can somewhat befriendduring her quest line.

The Sphinx will give the player tasks and riddles to solve, but once all of them are done, the only way to open the final chest is to kill her. While her lion body may not be the largest, most of her size is made up for by her wings, that players can truly witness in action if they decide to take a trip on her back to her next riddle location.

Its Wingspan Puts The World In Shadow

Continuing on the theme of wingspans, thegriffin is another early game large monsterplayers are likely to face. This large eagle-like creature with four legs can easily swoop down and take the oxen that lead the carts ofDragon’s Dogma 2.

The wings of this creature aren’t the only large thing about it, as the head, and therefore the beak, of the Griffin could easily chop an Arisen in two. This is another huge creature that players may find themselves riding on the back of, allowing players to replicate the beginning of the game while exploring the world.

Crushes All Underfoot

The Dragon isn’t the only winged lizard players will face inDragon’s Dogma 2, as players will first want to test their might against the various drakes that litter the world first. Players are sure to be shocked by the size of the various drakes, as the huge claws of these lizards can easily grab hold of the Arisen and their pawns who attempt to defeat these deadly foes.

Besides its huge wings, the body of a drake is another obstacle for players to scale as they grip at its chest in the hope of stabbing at its heart to defeat it. Even when the drake lands, it can topple players that are too close, making this ginormous monster quite a challenge.

It Stands At Great Heights When Stretching

Players that are attempting to receivethe true ending forDragon’s Dogma 2will first need to make it into the Unmoored World. Here, in between saving the different kingdoms, players can take on various trials too. These include some of the hardest bosses in the game, such as the Worm.

Summoning this pink and fleshy worm creature at the Scared Arbor, may beone of the easier trials, but the monster is definitely one of the largest. This long and chunky worm creature will slither around, breathing fire at the player and their Pawns, before raising itself to the heavens, showing how large it really is, while it then creates tornadoes of destruction.

Talos in Dragon’s Dogma 2

2Talos

A Huge Statue Man

Players that have not yet encountered Talos have likely met him during the trailers orDragon’s Dogma 2. This statue is plucked right from Greek mythology as Talos is a large man that emerges from the sea during the end of the main story. Though unlike his 8-foot mythology counterpart, Talos in Dragon’s Dogma 2 seems to soar straight past that by several feet.

He is arguably one of the tallest foes of the title, with players needing to make the most of the ballistas to destroy the corrupted crystals in him if they don’t havean Unmaking Arrow. Players can then scale the ginormous statue to see new heights and what it must be like to be Talos.

The Dragon breathing fire in Dragon’s Dogma 2

1The Dragon

Quadruple The Size Of A Drake

Out of all the monsters players are likely to face inDragon’s Dogma 2,it is of no surprise that the Dragon appears to be the largest of them all while also beingthe main villain of the game. Players truly don’t realize how large the Dragon is until they are given the option to repeat the cycle of the Arisen by facing the Dragon or walking away. He’s far bigger than the Lesser Dragon, who is supposed to be a corrupt version of himself.

Overall, the Dragon is an incredibly deadly foe that, even with the power to breathe fire, his sheer size is one of his deadliest factors, where a small village could be built on his back because of how large he is. Therefore, even though Talos himself may appear taller than this lizard, the Dragon is certainly heavier, making him appear to be the largest monster of them all.
