There’s no doubt that the team has the ability to focus on two projects at once, and it seems that yet another big project is in store for the near future.
The Simsfranchise is getting its own merch shop, The Sims Shop, launching on Jul 20, 2025, at 10 AM PT. Even though none of the items that will be available have been officially revealed, the release time announcement tweet includes four images with quite a lot of Sims-themed items. If all the items in the image turn out to be available in the merch store, fans can expect The Sims Shop to feature postcards, water bottles, Freezer Bunny plushies, garden gnomes, rings, phone cases, headphones, t-shirts, and much more.

Thankfully, it seems that most fans were happy with this reveal and are excited to know more about what is to come.
The Simsis such an extensive seriesthat there are a lot of possibilities when it comes to merch design. Hopefully, launch day will include tons of fun items. It will also be quite close to Black Friday, so maybe EA will host a day-one sale to incentivize fans to place their first few orders. On top of this, The Sims Shop will become available right before the holidays, which might make it easier for friends and family to find the perfect gift for a Simmer.
