InTriangle Strategy, depending on which choices players have made, they will come to a difficult section in Chapter 10. This chapter features the group of heroes heading into thedeserts of Hyzantelooking for evidence against the Minister of Salt, Sorsley.
Chapter 10’s Examination
Up until this point inTriangle Strategy,Examinations have been brief and without too much needed information. While it is a goodtip for anyone new toTriangle Strategyto still chat with all the NPCs in Examinations, it hasn’t been necessary just yet. This Examination, however, is a lot more involved than anything that’s come before. Players will need to interact with several people several times to get all the clues they will need to put Sorsley on trial.

Contacting Exharme Marcial In Chapter 10 Part 1: the Shadows of Suspicion
One of the several items players will have to take care of in Chapter 10 ofTriangle Strategywhile in the Kingdomof Hyzante is contacting Exharme Marcial, the Minister of Arms. He has recently been in contact with Serenoa about Minister Sorsley’s illegal salt trade, and Serenoa will make an attempt to contact him when in the marketplace of the holy city. The guard, however, will not let Serenoa in to see the Minister, so he tells Serenoa to write a letter instead.
But regardless ofSerenoa’s choices or convictions, he is without ink or paper, so they need to find someone in the area who might let them borrow enough to write a quick note to the minister. Luckily for players, there is a merchant here. While not open for business, he does have something that players can use to pen the Minister.

After writing the letter, return to the guard. He will personally see the note brought to the Minister. This takes care of just one of the items on the long checklist for this section of Chapter 10.
Helping the Wanted Man in Hyzante
While chatting with all the NPCs in the Holy City and looking for items to use andequip inTriangle Strategy’s Chapter 10, players will come across a Rebel who is nervous and upset. He can’t get back to his house because a guard is standing by it, waiting to arrest him.
Serenoa can also have a chat with the guard hanging around outside the house.

A dialogue option will come up to lie to the guard and tell him that Serenoa saw a suspicious man leaving the city. Select it.
This will get the guard to move away from the Rebel’s house.

Then they can tell the Rebel that his house is now safe to go back to.
Enter the Rebel’s home once he is inside, and he will tell players about the Encampment rumor.

The Disappearing Ship Rumor
Another thing that Serenoa and friends will need to do in Chapter 10 ofthe RPGTriangle Strategyis to have a chat with a rumormonger in the city. There is a man at the entrance of the city that directs players to try to talk with a woman who collects rumors. She is located in this little building near Lyla Viscraft.
She will tell Serenoa about the disappearing ship rumors.
Talk to the guard outside the Source in The Goddess' Shield
In the Holy City of The Goddess' Shield inTriangle Strategy, players will need to look for the entrance to the Source. This is the location where all the world’s salt is mined, and the all-important Source is heavily guarded. There will be four guards that players can interact with, and players will want to have a chat with the second of these.
Serenoa can then ask a follow-up question; players should choose the second option, asking about what is hidden in the Source that it is so heavily guarded.

This guard will answer that the Source isn’t what is hiding something, it is him. And if Serenoa promises to leave the Source alone, he will tell him the truth.
He says that the guilt of taking a bribe has eaten away at his soul, and he no longer can stand staying silent about it. He spills all the details, and players have yet another clue to get them closer to Sorsley’s guilt.

Players may have noticed that one of the Saintly Seven, Lyla Viscraft Minister of Medicine, is also in the city square with them. This character is not one players would know fromtheTriangle Strategydemo that carried over to the full game, but she will be important in this chapter. She is waiting near the guard that took Serenoa’s letter. While exploring the homes in the city, players most likely check out this little building looking for clues:
Inside this building, Lyla’s secretary has hidden some notes on the Minister of Salt, but Serenoa will not read them without permission. Have a chat with Lyla, and she will immediately give permission to take a look into her secretary’s notes.

Head back into the building and check out those notes; there are on a shelf along the back wall.
With this, Serenoa, Frederica Aesfrost,Roland Glenbrook, and the other heroes learn some of what Sorsley has been up to.

This information will be added to the player’s lore index.
Talk to Clarus in Triangle Strategy
There is a gentleman named Clarus in the city that is standing outside the rumormonger’s house.
He is a nobleman, and he is affronted by Serenoa’s accusations against the Minister of Salt.

If players have completed all the steps above, there will be new dialogue options available to convince Clarus of the Minister’s guilt.
Select these new options, which will be the bottom option.
This is the final thing that players have to do. They can now press + and head back to their encampment where they will ponder over everything they have learned with their friends and continue on with the remainder of the many hours left inTriangle Strategy’s long run time.
