She also uploads compilations of her iconic Twitch moments on her YouTube channel. Yabbe previously had her fair share of drama on the platform as well. However, the streamer seemed to be taking it lightly as she posted a screenshot of a message she sent about “leaving,” presumably Twitch, as a joke. She also uploaded a YouTube videos where she reacted to her old clips, which was streamed before the ban.
The news also reached the Livestream Fail subreddit, where many people tried to make sense of what Yabbe did to get banned. Some claimed that it was because she typed “all men should die” on her offline Twitch chat while allegedly drunk. Reddit user NightStickSteve even shared the Yabbe’s Twitch chat log before she got banned. Meanwhile, her boyfriend and fellow streamer NymN explained that Yabbe typed out the aforementioned phrase because she was trying to figure out why some of her viewers were getting banned in chat. Usually,Twitch viewers would get banned because of hateful and offensive messagesposted on Twitch or YouTube chat.
As of writing, Yabbe and Twitch haven’t addressed the speculations surrounding the ban. Twitch can ban or suspend streamers for a variety of reasons, fromcopyright strikes while watching certain YouTube or other videosto harassment. Many have already argued that the platform’s automatic ban system could be unfair because they can lose their revenue, especially if they didn’t know what they did wrong exactly.
Fortunately, streamers canappeal to Twitch to reverse their banor suspension to get their account back. It could take a few hours or days, or worse, they would have to wait months or years to come back to the platform. One solution that some streamers have done was to make a second Twitch account, so they can continue streaming to their viewers while bypassing their initial sanction. Hopefully, Yabbe won’t have to wait too long before she could return to Twitch.
