Cappella Magna isVampire Survivors' fifth stage, and players can unlock it by clearing the Holy Forbidden secret stage. Not long after loading into this level, fans will find that a Blue Reaper, known as the Drowner, has spawned, and indeed they can be quite a menace. For those players that are having trouble dealing with the Blue Reaper onVampire Survivors' Capella Magna stage, this guide will detail several ways to address this enemy.
Vampire Survivors: Blue Death on Cappella Magna
The first way to stop Capella Magna’s Blue Reaper is to kill them withdirect damage. This can be a very difficult thing to do at the beginning of a run, though, as only a handful ofweapons inVampire Survivorswill be able to consistently hit the enemy in the early-game. As such, it is recommended that players that want to take this approach start by continually moving upward and away from Blue Death until they have a few good weapon evolutions in hand.

While there are numerousweapon evolutions inVampire Survivorscapable of bringing down the Blue Reaper, those that give players directional control are particularly good for the task. For example, the Knife’s evolution, the Thousand Edge, can be sent repeatedly and directly at the foe, and fans that use it should bring down the Blue Reaper without too much trouble. The Bloody Tear, the Whip’s evolution, can also be effective in this situation, as it is possible to get on the same vertical axis as the Drowner without touching their hazard.
Alternatively, players can work to delete the Blue Reaper using either thePentagramweapon or theRosaryitem. Of these two options, the Pentagram is the one that fans can access most consistently, andVampire Survivorscharactersmay want to pick it up early to prepare for the Drowner’s arrival. Notably, this weapon will also deal with the other Reapers that appear on the Cappella Magna stage, giving it some additional value.

Once a player has addressed the Blue Reaper, they may want to head toward the stage’s coffin in order to unlock a new character. That character is Zi’Assunta Belpaese, and she has a unique starting weapon:Vampire Survivors' Vento Sacro. Players can also put their efforts toward defeating Trinacria, an enemy that appears in Cappella Magna at the 25-minute mark, and doing so will unlock the Hyper version of the stage.
