Vampire Survivorsis many things. Intense, original, harrowing, and of course, fun. If there’s one bad thing that can be said aboutVampire Survivors, it’s that it can be predictable. The enemies, bosses included, come in at preset times. This adds a planning element to the game, but after dozens of playthroughs, the predictability turns into base repetition.

Players wishing for a little more randomness in the game can now rejoice - there is a new game mode called Random Events. As with all thingsVampire Survivors, this new mode needs to be unlocked before it can be accessed.
Unlocking Random Events
In short, the player needs tocollect the Trisectionrelic to unlock Random Events. Sounds easy enough, right? To get this relic requires unlocking the Astral Stair stage; mainly because that’s where the relic is located. Astral Stair is unlocked by reaching level 80 in the Inlaid Library stage with Inverse Mode activated. The Inlaid Library is unlocked easily enough. However, unlocking Inverse Mode requires collecting the Gracia’s Mirror relic. This relic is found in the Eudaimonia Machine stage, which is unlocked after collecting all the other relics in the base game.
Agreat buildfor the Inverse Inlaid Library is Pugnala Provolawith Phiera Der Tuphello and Eight The Sparrow, Santa Water, Lightning Ring, Summon Night, and Magic Wand. Passive items required with this build include Duplicator, Empty Tome, Tiragisu, and Spellbinder. When Phieraggi is formed, the Laurel is the best pick for the vacant weapon slot. The Bracer is another good passive item. It willhelp Phieraggi deal damageeven faster by increasing the speed at which it spins, as well as help La Borra combine into one circle around the player character.

The best character for collecting the Trisection is Red Death. Its fast MoveSpeed will allow the player to get the relic quickly, and it is strong enough to run through hordes of weaker enemies without much of a problem. At thestart of the stage head southuntil reaching the first portal. In the new area head south to the portal at the bottom left of the hallway. After exiting the second portal head right across the hallway to the next portal. Once again, head to the portal to the right. This last portal will take the player to the room containing the Trisection, which is resting on a table along the south wall.
Random Events
When first hearing about something called Random Events inVampire Survivors, one might think it will only add negative events into a run. Not so! TheRandom Events mode can add positive events- like a Candybox appearing near the player - in addition to negative events.
Every minute at the thirty-second mark a roulette wheel will spin in the bottom corner of the screen. This will decide which random event will occur at the minute mark. In all, there are 30 random events that can occur.

Vampire Survivorsis available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Android, and iOS.
