With this in mind, we are revisiting many of our most popular Starfield guides to include the Shattered Space content. In this update, we will be looking at the new suits in Shattered Space, and adding them to our list ofthe best spacesuits in Starfield.
Starfield, like most Bethesda games, features a wide range of equipment for players to experiment with as they make their way through the Settled Systems. From pirate gear to superhero costumes,Starfield’s relentless loot cycle can certainly feel overwhelming. With so many varieties available to the player, it can be quite difficult to know which options are the best for each section of the game.
Starfield’sspacesuits,along with the various weapons in the game, are the most important pieces of protective equipment. The Settled Systems in which the game is set provide a wide range of both enemy combatants and dangerous environments, each requiring their own unique solutions to survive. While many ofStarfield’s space suitsexcel in one area,the best spacesuits inStarfieldprovide high-level protection in all areas. This list gathers six of the best that players can get their hands on.
Picking thebestspace suit inStarfieldis subjective. Players may find that certainStarfieldsuitsperform better than the sets on this list. The unpredictable nature ofStarfield,like many open-world RPGs, makes it difficult to say that any one suit is the absolute best. This list serves as a great starting point for new players, while encouraging them to explore the Settled Systems, and choose the suit that works best for them.

While the Mantis spacesuit is always Legendary, the specific perks it includes are completely random. The base stats will be the same, but the type (i.e. Repulsing, Mirrored, Reactive, Chameleon etc.) and bonus perks (Legendary has 3 total) are completely random.
