First announced in 2019,Party Animalsis afamily-friendly multiplayer party gamethat features a variety of cute animals brawling with each other across various levels. The game will be releasing on PC and Xbox consoles on September 20, which is the same date that the giveaway winner will be chosen.

The XboxParty Animalssweepstakes features two vibrantly colored consoles and an equally eye-catching controller. Both of theXbox Series S consolesare fully wrapped in a smooth neon tangerine color, except for the front panel, which is a light orange-yellow. The two consoles are distinguishable from one another by the animal character prints peaking over the edge of the side panels. One console features a cute little cat character named Macchiato while the other features the sweet corgi character Nemo, who also serves as the game’s mascot. The controller features the same color pattern as the console, with tangerine on the main body and yellowed accent coloring on the thumb sticks, bumpers, triggers, and D-pad.
Party Animalsfeatures battle-style gameplay, where players fight against one another to be the last one standing. Players can choose from twelvecute playable animal charactersas they punch, jump, toss, kick, and headbutt their way to victory. Each map features various hazards which can either aid or impede success. Currently, the game features four maps and two game modes: Last Stand, a free-for-all skirmish, and Snatch Squad, a capture the flag-style mode.
Featuring gameplay similar toGang BeastsandHuman: Fall Flat,Party Animalshas already gotten the attention of gamers everywhere. It benefits heavily from its adorable animal characters and familiar battle-style gameplay. That said, it is a bit worrisome that the game will be launching with only four maps and two game modes. It has already been in development for several years and has offered several open demos since 2020, so expectations are incredibly high. IfParty Animalscan truly deliver with cuteness, fun, and replayability, it will no doubt become a fan-favorite among party game lovers.
