With the release of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles came tons of next-gen upgrades for PS4 and Xbox One games, andZombie Army 4: Dead Waris the latest title to get this treatment. Rebellion Developments has officially confirmed thatZombie Army 4: Dead Warwill be getting a free next-gen upgrade over the next week.
PlayStation fans will be getting their hands on this next-gen upgrade forZombie Army 4: Dead Wara little bit earlier than on Xbox, with the update launching on April 6 for PS5 and April 8 for Xbox Series X/S. In addition to all of the upgrades for next-gen consoles, Rebellion Developments also confirmed a number of fixes would be rolled out on all platforms.

The next-genupgrade forZombie Army 4: Dead Warincludes several improvements. On the PS5, the game will run at 4K 60Hz, with DRS enabled to ensure the smoothest framerate. Both the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S will get significantly reduced load times thanks to the SSDs offered with next-gen consoles. While the Xbox Series X will be able to runZombie Army 4: Dead Warat 4K 60Hz in quality mode and 1080p at 120Hz in performance mode, the Xbox Series S is only able to reach 1080p 60Hz. The Xbox Series X offers a toggle for players to switch between both modes at their leisure, while the PS5 upgrades are locked in.
PS5 and Xbox Series X/Sfans ofZombie Army 4: Dead Wardon’t have long to wait for the upgrades, but fans playing on PC will be able to enjoy crossplay between Windows 10 Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store with this week’s patch.Zombie Army 4: Dead Waris currently a PlayStation Plus title for the month of April, which means PS5 fans won’t have long to wait for these upgrades, and Xbox Game Pass will be receiving the zombie game in the near future. Several balance changes and bug fixes were implemented in thelatestZombie Army 4: Dead Warupdate, assuring PS5 and Xbox Series X/S players get the optimal experience when they receive the next-gen upgrades.
